The room draws oceanic inspiration from the adjacent Family Room, and reflects principal Kelly Hohla’s recent journey to the British Isles. The space highlights heritage craftsmanship with London’s Bakehouse bespoke ‘Coastal Oak’ cabinetry, renowned for its refined finishes and rich timber grain.
Every detail is thoughtfully considered—from solid oak drawers with classic dovetail joinery, to a recessed appliance cabinet designed for seamless functionality. The cabinetry’s soft blue-gray hue, “Bridgerton Blue,” was inspired by a visit to Tomales Bay, where the gentle morning fog drifts across calm waters. The cabinet face frames are finished in Bakehouse’s signature “Coastal Oak,” adding warmth and natural texture to the space.

A native Californian, Kelly Hohla draws deeply from her lifelong connection to water, expressed with grace in her debut capsule collection for Showcase: the Cove Banquette, Droplet Dining Chair, Puddle Side Table, and Seafoam Rug.
