Function form and beauty. We work with our clients to develop a home that reflects who they are and how they live. Our principal, Kelly has over 16 years of experience with successful high-end residential projects and happy clients in San Francisco, Sonoma, Tahoe, Montana, New York, Hawaii and beyond. Through travel, experience, and education Kelly has developed a love for many forms of design ranging from contemporary eclectic mixes, to classic architecture and antiques with fresh updates. All of our interiors, whether contemporary or traditional, focus on attention to fine detail & craftsmanship, proportion-space and light, well-edited forms and materials, high style, tailored comfort, and a little unexpected edge. We consider it an honor and a privilege to get to know each client over the process, and to transform their homes into a unique and inspired reflection of them.
After graduating from UC San Diego, Kelly began her career as a young designer in San Francisco in 2001. She spent her formative years working at The Wiseman Group, where she learned the importance of quality detailing, scale and proportion, craftsmanship, love for antiques & architecture, and general business integrity that TWG is so well know for. Later in her career, she was able to contribute to the growth of Jeffers Design Group. At JDG she was a Design Principal who ran many successful projects, and managed a highly organized and well trained staff. Her love of color drew her to JDG initially, and her collaboration and friendship with Principal Jay Jeffers further inspired confidence, creativity, love for art, quality client relationships, and general excitement for design and all things of beauty.
Inspired, energetic and ready to bring no nonsense design with a rare set of skills & experience, Kelly Hohla Interiors opened for business in 2011. Over her design career, Kelly has worked on projects featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, Metropolitan Home, House Beautiful, California Home and Design, Luxe and many more.
Designer Kelly Hohla contrasts black lacquer with brass in three new cocktail tables for Jay Jeffers’s Cavalier furniture line. Custom lacquer colors are also available.
With plenty of striking elements, it’s no surprise that Kelly Hohla‘s room in this year’s San Francisco Decorator Showcase, open through May 27 (www.decoratorshowcase.org), is garnering much attention. There’s the wall sheathed in a custom Kyle Bunting hair-on-hide wall covering in a geometric pattern, and the walnut credenza handcrafted by Michael Coffey. Two of Hohla’s own designs also take center stage: a bronze and leather desk and a cluster of walnut, black lacquer and brass cocktail tables made by local artisans C. Mariani and Carlo Rossi, respectively.
